Daniel Rizzo (Born February 19, 1989) is an Australian internet personality, writer, producer, and entertainment reviewer. Formerly of ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com, he was for a time an Executive Producer on Aussie-Nintendo.com , as well as a floor manager for GTV-9 Melbourne.

In March of 2008, Rizzo made his debut on Youtube.com, posting video game reviews on his Youtube account, in which he named Riz's Rave Reviews. As April of 2008 hit, Rizzo drifted away from the Video Game Reviewing territory stating that, "The Internet has too many Video Game Reviewers/Critics, so I don't know where I Will go from here", Rizzo Made his Return in Late April, with a brand new segment called "Riz Raves On", in which he would discuss the topics and debates of news and every day life. On August 12, 2008, Rizzo posted, what would be his last Youtube Blog, and stated "I'm Moving Out guys!" "I wanted this so bad and heading into a direction I've always wanted go". Although He has not Posted a recent Blog, his RizRaveReviews account is still active. His main channel it reads the following:

"I am now on: http://www.ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com, I am not leaving Youtube! I'll still be here for the occasional update!"

On September 13, Rizzo made a Youtube return, posting his thoughts on the Palin/Oprah dilemma, and Britney Spears, MTV Music Awards Return, this would be Rizzo's first Video Blog since moving over to TGWTG.com.

That Guy With The Glasses Edit

On August 9, 2008, Rizzo Officially became a team member of That Guy With The Glasses, although he did make previous visits into the TGWTG Chatroom under the username "ThatAussieGuyWithGlasses", he instantly became known as "Aussie" in the chatroom. Aussie made his TGWTG debut, on August 13, heading back into the video game reviewing genre, reviewing The Bourne Conspiracy Video Game, based off the Bourne Series. The review itself recieved a fair share of criticism, Although Aussie Responded with the very first "Riz Raves On" on TGWTG.com. He Responded, telling some critics "That Guy with the Glasses.com is taking a different direction", Meaning that the website itself was expanding, and heading into other fields of genre other than Comedy and sketch which it is well known for.

The Aussie Critic Edit

Aussie would later Donne the Critic costume, and Spoof the roll of the Nostalgia Critic and gave it an Aussie twist and name the character The Aussie Critic. His First and only (posted) review was based on the 1986 Australian Stereotype film, Crocodile Dundee. This would be Aussie's first movie review for TGWTG.com.

Leaving Channel Awesome and the Aftermath Edit

Due to "some issues, ill advised actions, and other various events," Channel Awesome and ThatGuyWithTheGlasses fired Rizzo in May 2009. All his videos were removed, all Rizzo-related articles were removed from the Channel Awesome wiki (though his crossover appearances and his role in establishing the Transmission Awesome podcast are still mentioned) and all discussion of the circumstances surrounding his departure is blanket-banned. In essence, he's become the channel's designated unperson.

He has since offered his own take on the events. Sort of.

Aussie-Gamer and The Wrap Edit

After a long period of doing nothing interesting, Rizzo got in touch with the founders of Aussie-Gamer.com and was hired on a volunteer basis to host and produce a podcast for the website.

The podcast was a failure due to Rizzo's lack of enthusiasm and knowledge on the video game industry, so a new show was planned for the Aussie-Gamer YouTube channel, AussieGamr.

This show, developed by the founder of Aussie-Gamer, was called "The Wrap" and was designed to be a weekly wrap up of video game news and events.

Rizzo's sporadic performance in delivering the show on a weekly basis was wearing thin with the website's owners. One day, without warning, Rizzo re-branded the AussieGamr YouTube channel to suit his own style, trashing any resemblance of the Aussie-Gamer website.

Rizzo denied access to the channel to the owners of the site and was thusly sacked from Aussie-Gamer.com in August 2011.

Since leaving the website, Rizzo sought to use the leverage "The Wrap" show had already garnered and claimed it was his own work. He also claimed that "The Wrap" was "picked up" by YouTube Channel Machinema, but as of May 2012 has yet to deliver a single episode.

Rizzo, along with his friend Brian Lee (a.k.a 'The Game Anthropologist" on YouTube) now constantly troll the new Aussie-Gamer YouTube Account, 'AussieGamerVideo'. Each and every video uploaded to the account gets exactly 7 'dislikes', suggesting between the two of them, 7 accounts are owned.
